Instructions

  1. Boil oranges, drain, quarter & remove seeds, puree - 150g
  2. Cream butter & sugar. Add yolks 1 by 1
  3. Add flour, baking powder & almonds
  4. Add 150ml pulp, whisk whites soft peaks and fold
  5. Pour into greased baking ring @ 200c - 10min @ 175 40-45min
  6. Combine sugar, water and spices over medium heat and cook to carmel
  7. Remove from heat and add orange juice, return to heat until smooth
